Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
Tiddle is built for small businesses that need practical AI help without handing over unnecessary access to private systems. We rely on the trust of other small businesses, so we treat your data with the same care we would expect for our own.
This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how we work to keep your business information private and under your control.
1. What this covers
This Privacy Policy applies to Tiddle's website, portal, Tidbits, business memory features, early access program, and related services.
A Tidbit is a focused AI assistant designed to help with a specific small-business task, such as drafting replies from pasted email text, gathering feedback, collecting testimonials, answering common questions, supporting pricing decisions, or helping with repeatable workflows.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what is needed to provide and improve Tiddle. This may include:
- Account details: Your name, email address, business name, organization details, account settings, and plan or early access status.
- Business memory: Information you choose to save about your business, such as services, policies, pricing details, workflows, preferences, FAQs, customer service standards, and other reusable business context.
- Tidbit inputs: Content you provide to a Tidbit, such as pasted email text, notes, business descriptions, customer feedback, testimonial prompts, pricing context, or other task-specific information.
- Tidbit outputs: AI generated drafts, summaries, suggestions, proposed facts, or other outputs created when you use a Tidbit.
- Usage and reliability data: Basic product usage, error logs, performance data, diagnostics, and security-related events that help us keep Tiddle reliable, secure, and useful.
- Early access and lead form data: Information you submit through our website, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, business size, email volume, and notes.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide Tiddle's features and help your business get useful, practical value from Tidbits.
- To create and manage your account and organization.
- To provide Tidbits and generate task-specific AI outputs.
- To use your business memory as private context for your organization's Tidbits.
- To help Tidbits produce more consistent, relevant, and useful results over time.
- To support features such as reply drafting from pasted email text, feedback analysis, testimonial collection, FAQ assistance, pricing support, and other business workflows.
- To troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and prevent misuse.
- To communicate with you about early access, support, updates, and product changes.
Most importantly: we do not sell, rent, or monetize your business data. We do not use your business memory, Tidbit inputs, or customer content for advertising, data resale, or third-party marketing profiles.
4. Business memory and Tidbits
Tiddle is built around the idea that small businesses should be able to reuse what they already know. Business memory may include reusable facts about your services, policies, pricing, processes, preferences, customer experience, and common answers.
Your organization's business memory is used to help your Tidbits produce better and more consistent results. For example, Reply Assistant may use your saved business policies or service details when drafting a response from pasted email text.
Business memory is scoped to your organization. We do not make your private business memory available to other customers.
5. Content you paste or provide
Some Tidbits work from content you paste or provide directly, such as an email thread, customer message, feedback note, testimonial request, product description, pricing context, or business policy.
You are responsible for choosing what content to provide. We recommend avoiding unnecessary sensitive personal information when it is not needed for the task.
Tiddle does not require direct inbox access for Reply Assistant. It works from the email or message text you choose to paste into the product.
6. How Tiddle uses AI providers
Tiddle may use trusted AI service providers to process Tidbit inputs, business memory, and related context so the product can generate useful outputs.
These providers are used to operate Tiddle's features. We do not allow service providers to use your business information for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
Where supported by our providers and settings, we configure AI processing to limit use of customer data for training general-purpose models. We also design Tiddle to send only the context needed for the Tidbit task being performed.
7. Who can see your data
Access to your data is limited. Automated systems process your data to provide the features you use. Human access is restricted and allowed only when necessary to respond to a support request you initiate, investigate a security or reliability issue, comply with legal obligations, or protect Tiddle and its users.
We do not share your private business memory, Tidbit inputs, or customer content with advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers.
8. How we protect your data
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data and reduce unnecessary exposure.
- Secure sign-in for supported account methods.
- Organization-scoped access controls.
- Encrypted storage for data we retain, where appropriate.
- Data minimization: we avoid collecting broad system access when it is not needed.
- Human-supervised workflows for important business outputs.
- Restricted internal access to customer data.
- Reliability and security logging to help detect and investigate issues.
9. Data retention
Tiddle follows a data minimization approach and keeps information only as long as needed to provide the service, support your account, meet legal obligations, and maintain security and reliability.
- Account details: Retained while your account is active, unless deletion is requested or longer retention is required by law.
- Business memory: Retained until you edit, remove, or request deletion of it. Business memory is treated as durable context you choose to store.
- Tidbit inputs and outputs: Retained as needed to provide history, troubleshooting, usage tracking, and product functionality. We may shorten or remove stored inputs over time as the product matures.
- Lead form and early access submissions: Retained as needed to respond to your request, manage early access, and communicate with you about Tiddle.
- Logs and diagnostics: Retained for a limited period for security, reliability, debugging, and performance monitoring.
You may request deletion of your account or data at any time by contacting us.
10. Service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate Tiddle. These may include providers for cloud hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, logging, email delivery, payments, AI processing, and infrastructure monitoring.
These providers are permitted to process data only as needed to provide services to Tiddle. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
11. Your choices
You can choose what business memory to add, edit, or remove. You can choose what content to paste or provide to Tidbits. You can request deletion of your account and associated data.
If future Tiddle features offer optional integrations with outside tools, those integrations will be presented clearly and will require your authorization before use.
12. Children's privacy
Tiddle is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Tiddle evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
